Know Your Lore: The orcs
One of the problems in covering the history of the orcs is that after the Rise of the Horde period, we've done it already quite a few times. The history of the orcs is the history of the WoW Gold Horde. Just in covering Orgrim Doomhammer's life, we've covered the formation of the Horde to a great extent.
What's interesting when considering the orcs as a people is how they were betrayed by their own virtues. The orc tendency to revere the spirits, their genius at preserving clan individuality yet coming together in times of crisis, their willingness to respect their elders and heed their wisdom -- all of these WoW Gold traits were twisted under first Ner'zhul and then Gul'dan. While Ner'zhul was proud, even arrogant, his initial actions in kindling the war against the draenei were sincere. He believed that the spirit of his dead wife Rulkan had returned to warn him of the draenei threat, accompanied by a "great one" who would teach Ner'zhul new magics to use to protect his people.
No matter Ner'zhul's flaws, it cannot be denied he was sincere. Yes, he hungered for power and respect (even though he was in fact powerful and respected) and yes, he prosecuted the war with the draenei when he really only had the word of Kil'jaeden that the draenei were evil and plotting against the orcs. And yes, Ner'zhul ignored for a time that he was losing the respect of the ancestor spirits and that the WoW Gold elements grew distant from him. He put himself ahead of his role as elder shaman. It cannot and should not be denied. But even in his most aggressive moments, Ner'zhul was neither blind nor a fool. He began to realize that his spiritual advisor, Kil'jaeden, resemble a draenei and hated Velen with a fervor the orc could barely comprehend. He began to wonder why the spirts would not speak to him.
Possibilities for the Pandaren mount
When it comes to information, Blizzard is pretty tight-lipped. The only things we know about the Mists of Pandaria pandaren racial mount is that it hasn't been decided on yet publicly. Internally, I would wager WoW Gold, there are thousands upon thousands of pandaren riding atop their noble steeds ... whatever steed that may be.
While we still don't know exactly what the pandaren mount is going to be, that has not stopped the internet from speculating. Malchome over at mmo-report.com thinks that the pandaren mount should be a keg cart pulled by some sort of mule or yak. Epic versions could be more intricate, much like the goblin trikes gain complexity as their WoW Gold quality increases. There is a wonderful little mock-up drawing of the keg cart in the post as well. I love the idea as a mount in general, not even just for pandaren, especially with the Brewfest connection.
Not only does the Chan Chu symbolize prosperity but also protection. Couldn't you easily see an epic armored frog bounding across the battlefield? He could toss his little coin as an idle animation. Plus, the mount is universal enough to allow all other WoW Gold races to ride them, much like the kodo, and could come in lots of colors and styles. His jump would obviously be awesome.
Saving your money
The most important step in being able to buy a mount and make other large purchases should be self-evident: saving. Economize as often as you can, and don't buy anything unless you absolutely have to. You can burn through hundreds of WoW Gold even before level 20 by visiting the auction house for new equipment at every opportunity. If you do so, over the long haul you will be left with very little to show for it. Before level 20, keep your eyes on the prize: getting that mount. The mount helps you move faster. Faster movement means faster killing, faster questing, faster quest turn-ins, and faster leveling. It is the most important tool to fast leveling you can get at level 20, and infinitely more important than getting your hands on that Left-Handed Vorpal Cleaver of the Zipswitch that you could have purchased at level 23. Stay focused.
Once your character makes it to Outland and beyond, cashflow frees up considerably. The quest rewards are much better than in Azeroth. In fact, a typical character will earn from 1000-1200 in quest rewards and vendor trash while leveling 60-70 in Outland, and perhaps 1400-1600 from 70-80 in Northrend. The tendency is, therefore, to spend more freely after one hits 60. However, it is important for players not to go crazy on their WoW Gold spending once they make it to Hellfire. One thing is, training costs, repair costs, and consumable costs are also higher. More important, there is a large purchase that you are going to want to make at some point after level 60, your first flying mount and skill.
The "bird" costs 40, the skill will cost you far more. Not only that, but if you want to fly it in Northrend at level 70, you'll have to shell out another 400 for Cold Weather Flying. And for those characters who will be 'farming' herbs or ore in either Outland or Northrend, an elite flying mount is almost essential, as it helps you gather almost twice as fast. That's another 5000 WoW Gold you'll be looking at. Therefore, budgeting carefully during the 60-80 leveling process is essential to ensuring you have sufficient cash on hand for making those purchases. Saving your pennies early makes that bird appear that much sooner.
World of Warcraft in 2007
World of Warcraft saw many changes in the year 2006. A steady stream of patches flowed from the dev's brains into Azeroth throughout the year. This next year is already looking to be a great year for the WoW Gold development of the game as well. Blizzard is starting things off early by releasing the first WoW expansion on January 16.
This expansion is granting the wishes of many players. The level cap is being raised to 70; flying mounts, arenas, the expansion of Azeroth's influence onto another planet, two new races and a new WoW Gold profession are all being introduced.
With the opening up of the Outlands for adventuring, comes many new instances, new quests and new factions for reputation gains (and losses). The Burning Crusade is living up to its occupation of expanding the game by leaps and bounds.
So what, in addition to the expansion, can we expect to see in 2007? There are so many things that have been dangled in front of us that we, like a mount after a carrot on a stick, can only try to catch up.
We've also heard rumors that the WoW Gold scourge was not sufficiently defeated in the last scourge invasion. Could hovering necropolises once again appear over the skies of major cities?
These and other questions all must lie in wait, for though we may possess an Eye of Destiny...it cannot show us what will come.
WoW back online in China July 30th
At the end of June World of Warcraft had been offline in China for over three weeks – a lifetime for many MMO players needing their fix. The problems with transitioning from launch host company The9 to NetEase seemed like they were never going to end, but there is now light at the end of the tunnel for WoW Gold players.
Next week, on July 30th and some two months since the problem began, the game is set to come back online with Blizzard and NetEase hoping players will also return. Many have transitioned over to playing through servers based in Taiwan and could choose to stay there.
The final hurdle for getting the game running again is the Chinese government who had to review its content. With the game being so big you can see why that would take some WoW Gold time, but apparently they are not completely happy so changes will have to be made. What this means is the launch next week will only be for players who already have a WoW account. No new players will be able to sign up until the game modifications have been made and they are approved.
The only good news for existing players from this is Blizzard and NetEase will not be allowed to charge a WoW Gold subscription fee until the modifications to the game are completed. So any gamer in China deciding to go back to the MMO on a Chinese server should get a few weeks (or maybe months?) of free play time.
